Investment bank quarterly perspectives brochure

For three years running, I worked on the global quarterly perspectives review for a major private wealth investment bank.

The project included the creation of double-page-spread saddle-bound full colour CMYK print publications to work alongside digital PDFs for online use, HTML emails and an online microsite. The review reports consisted of articles written by the bank's investment insight team, discussing events that impacted the last financial quarter, and postulating on future scenarios. It was accompanied by illustrations done by in-house artists at the agency, numerous graphs, pull-out quotes, a bio section for the authors and a glossary of terms. The 16-page document was then translated into four languages for EMEA distribution to the bank's major investors.

I have been involved in virtually every step of this process over three years, being principally responsible for the print layout, and branching out to chart creation, email design and development, and, finally, design and development of the microsite in 2016 and 2018.

Design considerations included adhering to an ever-evolving brand, and maintaining consistency across all elements, print and digital, despite fluctuating brand guidelines. Image selection is a very important part of this project, as it often falls to a single image to convey a multitude of messages, and draw in the viewer, while working well in both the print layout and responsive online versions.
